The Still Space was born from a deep belief that within each of us lives an inner place of stillness we can return to, no matter what life brings.

It was founded on the understanding that amidst the noise, overwhelm, and unrelenting pace of life, we all need a space that feels safe enough to pause, a place to reconnect with who we are beneath the layers of coping and surviving.

At its heart, The Still Space is more than a counselling and mindfulness practice; it’s a philosophy of care grounded in compassion, curiosity, and connection. It’s a space where people are met as whole human beings, not as problems to be fixed.

Born from lived experience and years of learning, the practice reflects a belief in the power of presence, evidence-informed practice, and the courage it takes to turn inward. Here, our journey isn’t rushed or forced; it is allowed to unfold guided by safety, trust, and the wisdom you already hold within.

Whether you arrive in a season of loss, change, or renewal, The Still Space exists to remind you that even in uncertain moments, there remains a calm within, waiting to be found, reclaimed, and lived from once again.

Sammy has not only taught us how to meditate together but has gone above and beyond with setting up fun activities which teach my daughter about emotions and ways of dealing with them. I can't thank Sammy enough for all her help and can highly recommend her to anyone”.
