Parenting an Anxious Child Workshop.
Saturday 24 may 2025 | 10:00AM - 3:00PM | $149
Parenting an anxious child can feel confusing, exhausting, frustrating, and at times, completely overwhelming. I understand, because I also have a child who experiences anxiety.
Watching your child struggle with fears that seem bigger than they are can leave you feeling helpless and unsure of how to support them. Anxiety is a normal human emotion, but for as many as 1 in 5 young people, it becomes so intense that it interferes with daily life, impacting families, school, friendships, and a child’s sense of self. It can shrink their world and dim their light.
But there is hope. Anxiety is manageable, and with the right support, children can learn how to face their fears, build resilience, and feel safe in their world again.
Support starts with you and you don’t have to do this alone. With understanding, guidance, and simple, practical tools, both you and your child can feel more equipped, connected, and empowered to move forward, together.
This workshop is designed to support parents to better understand anxiety, learn simple strategies to support their child, and take out the uncertainty that so often surrounds anxiety. When we understand what’s happening beneath the surface, we can respond with more confidence and calm.
-
